I have always wanted to be a photographer....always since I can remember.  I had many cameras throughout my childhood and even into adult hood but never really knew how to take great photographs.  The beautiful photos that some folks take just take my breath away and leave me always wondering how did they do that.  I have several great point and shoot digital's as well as a couple film SLR's that I wish I knew more about.  So my plan is simple, read everything I can find to teach myself and buy myself a entry level DSLR, and start taking pictures of everything.  I think I have been going about this the wrong way anyway.  I think I'm going to start taking pictures of the world how I see it instead of trying to please someone else's eyes.  Maybe if I look at things differently that will help capture more my my creative side.  We will see. 

I created this blog as a place to post some of the photo's I take really for myself but welcome anyone and everyone to come and look and make comments.  Be nice that's all I ask.  If you don't like it, that's find but be nice, if you hate it, that's fine but be nice.  I'm posting a couple of pictures today of older shots, primarily for me to compare to when I get better.
